Paramount Movies just posted the official trailer for Confinement, a home-invasion-by-hospitality thriller with Nathalie Emmanuel as a pregnant widow who learns the hard way that estranged family can still have a plan for your baby.
The useful calendar line is already on the upload: watch at home September 1.

What Paramount is selling
Paramount's own synopsis keeps the pitch lean. Stella is pregnant and recently widowed. Her late husband's estranged family takes her in. The generosity curdles. Their interest in the unborn child turns deadly, and Stella is fighting for her life inside the house that was supposed to be shelter.
Claire Forlani is the other name Paramount flags on the trailer page. The clip also stacks the rest of the household as faces you clock before you trust them: dinner-table warmth, formal rooms, then the bathroom panic that sells the title.
Peter Howitt directs (Sliding Doors), from a screenplay by Will Honley and April Maguire. Paramount is taking it straight to digital purchase and rental on major platforms September 1, R-rated thriller lane, with no theatrical window announced alongside the trailer.
