Queue timers matter more than hype for League Classic. The mode does not drip out server by server with the usual patch cadence. Riot is flipping it on globally at the same moment (China excepted): 8:00 AM PDT / 11:00 AM EDT on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, alongside Patch 26.15 in the existing League client.

How to get in when the clock hits
No second install. Update League, open the client after go-live, and pick Classic from the mode list (Featured Game Mode lane, same idea as Arena or URF). What Classic actually is (short version)
Riot's /dev: League of Legends Classic post frames it as a Season 3-anchored greatest hits mode, not a pure patch archive. Launch roster is 60 champions (original 40 plus 20 from 2009 to 2013), with more from that era coming later through The Council voting. Old runes, masteries, and early items return, with faster unlocks than the original grind. Draft PvP, Co-op vs AI, and customs ship at launch.
We started with Season 3 as our anchor, but League Classic is more of a collection of greatest hits, rather than a singular moment in time.

What is not on this clock
This table is for mode availability, not every regional patch note email. Store windows, showmatch VODs, and China timing can differ. If queues are delayed a few minutes after 15:00 UTC, wait out the login spike before assuming your region is skipped.
