Xbox just posted the Mistfall Hunter cinematic launch trailer as the dark fantasy extraction ARPG hits Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox. The clip is mood first: mist, ruin, and Gyldhunters clawing through a realm that does not want them out alive.

What it is
Mistfall Hunter is a third-person PvPvE extraction ARPG from Bellring Games, published by Skystone Games. You play a Gyldhunter dropped into a mist-eaten world to loot relics and Gyldenblood, fight corroded monsters and rival hunters, then extract with the haul. Runs work solo or in a small squad. Steam lists multiplayer, online PvP, and online co-op.
The pitch on the Steam page is blunt: combine class skills, talents, and gear, then fight your way back out with a full bag. Die on the way, and the loop resets the stakes.

Where to play today
Release date: July 29, 2026 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox. Steam currently shows a launch sale: $24.99 standard, $22.49 with the intro discount. The Xbox channel posted the launch cinematic, and the game is positioned as a day-one Xbox Game Pass title on Xbox and PC Game Pass.
Official hub: mistfallhunter.com. Steam app id 3282300.
Why the trailer matters
This is not a systems dump. It is the launch-day atmosphere sell: exile into endless night, temples failing, hunters refusing to stay dead. If you already watched the gameplay and class clips, this is the mythic wrapper around the extraction loop.
