Zombie co-op fans on console finally have a hard date. No More Room in Hell 2 leaves Early Access and hits 1.0 on August 11, 2026, landing the same day on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S with full cross-play.
August 11 is the lock
Torn Banner Studios and console publisher Green Man Gaming put the day on the calendar in the official July 28 announcement. The PlayStation release date trailer is the public face of that drop. PC players who lived through Early Access get the same 1.0 build as console, with feature parity called out as a design goal: same systems, same survival rules, shared achievements.

What 1.0 actually adds
The launch package is bigger than a platform port. Studio materials list:
Permanent Survival Mode (defend speaker towers while civilians evacuate)
A risk-free Solo Mode for map practice without permadeath
New maps including Flooded, NOTLD, Lighthouse (Survival), and Bunker (Objective)
Training grounds for onboarding
QoL like match reconnect, an Unstuck option, and retuned difficulty tiers
Merit currency tied to weekly assignments
Cross-platform trophies and achievements
Pricing in the announcement starts at $29.99 / £24.99 / €29.99. Pre-order discounts were live on Xbox from July 28 (20% off). Launch-day offers called out: 35% off on Steam and Epic, 20% off on PlayStation and Xbox stores from August 11.
One planning detail matters for Early Access veterans: everyone starts fresh on day one. Historical EA play unlocks exclusive cosmetic rewards instead of carrying progression over.
Reaching 1.0 is a monumental milestone for No More Room in Hell 2. Throughout Early Access, we've worked hand-in-hand with our community to refine, polish, and expand the game into the ultimate high-stakes co-op horror experience.
