August 1 hit Europe harder than the June Xbox Wire preview made obvious. Microsoft’s worldwide console price update only spelled out US dollar deltas at announcement time: +$100 on 512 GB models and +$150 on 1 TB models, plus the 2 TB Series X leaving the lineup. UK and eurozone store tags are now live, and the absolute jumps are steeper in local currency than that US framing suggested.
