If you are waiting for the next Blade Runner story after 2049, Prime Video finally put a date and a first look on the calendar. The official teaser for Blade Runner 2099 landed from Comic-Con Hall H, and the limited series now has a hard premiere: November 25, 2026.

The clip is short on plot spoilers and heavy on atmosphere: rain-slick architecture, amber haze, and a city that looks rebuilt on someone else's terms. Prime Video's own line for the drop is blunt.
Premiere date and how it drops
This is not a weekly drip. Amazon MGM Studios and Alcon Television Group confirmed that all eight episodes arrive together on November 25, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories.

The official logline fills in the partnership the trailer only sketches. Fifty years after Blade Runner 2049, Los Angeles has been remade, and not by humans. Hunter Schafer plays Cora, a fugitive who takes on one last identity as a Blade Runner. Michelle Yeoh plays Olwen, a Replicant days from dying. Forced together, they chase a runaway whose secret could crack the city's fragile order.
Fifty years after the events of Blade Runner 2049, Los Angeles has been reborn, just not by humanity.
That synopsis comes straight from the Amazon MGM Studios / Prime Video Comic-Con announcement. Series regulars also include Dimitri Abold and Lewis Gribben.
