HBO Max unveiled the clip during a San Diego Comic-Con panel with Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, and co-creators Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King. Warner Bros. Discovery's release puts the eight-episode season on Sunday, August 16 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with the same window available to stream on HBO Max.

The sell is not cape spectacle first. It is two intergalactic cops, recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), pulled into a dark, Earth-based murder case with cosmic ties in the American heartland. Think precinct grit with a power ring sitting in the evidence bag.

Episode order after night one is not fully laid out in the trailer drop, so treat August 16 as the confirmed gate and watch the Max schedule for weekly vs. batch drops once the app listing updates.
