If you are tracking DC Studios TV and want the calendar locked, not vibes: Lanterns now has an official Comic-Con trailer and a hard premiere night.
HBO Max unveiled the clip during a San Diego Comic-Con panel with Kyle Chandler, Aaron Pierre, Garret Dillahunt, Poorna Jagannathan, and co-creators Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King. Warner Bros. Discovery's release puts the eight-episode season on Sunday, August 16 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on HBO, with the same window available to stream on HBO Max.

The sell is not cape spectacle first. It is two intergalactic cops, recruit John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and Lantern legend Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), pulled into a dark, Earth-based murder case with cosmic ties in the American heartland. Think precinct grit with a power ring sitting in the evidence bag.
