On July 27, 2026, the executive producer posted on X with a still that appears to show Adam Scott and Britt Lower tearing down a familiar hallway, and a caption that sounds like company scripture more than a production memo.

Stiller’s update leans into the show’s voice instead of a dry start-of-production announcement. The caption quotes Lumon founder Kier Eagan:
“To return to work is to return home.”
That line, paired with the hallway still, is the whole tease. It does not spell out a call sheet, a first shoot day, or an episode count. It does strongly imply that season 3 work is underway, or at least that Stiller wants fans to read it that way.
What Apple already confirmed
Apple TV+ renewed Severance for a third season on March 21, 2025, the day after the season 2 finale. In the official press release, Stiller framed the pickup in severed-brain humor:
“Making ‘Severance’ has been one of the most creatively exciting experiences I’ve ever been a part of. While I have no memory of this, I’m told making season three will be equally enjoyable, though any recollection of these future events will be forever and irrevocably wiped from my memory as well.”
