McDonald's has not posted a press release. Food leaker Snackolator has, and the claim is loud enough that collectors should treat it as a watchlist item: an Australia-bound Happy Meal set that fuses SpongeBob SquarePants characters with One Piece pirates.
What the leak shows
Snackolator describes at least seven mashup toys (with a chance of more), reportedly headed to McDonald's in Australia first. The circulated lineup pairs:
SpongeBob × Luffy
Squidward × Sanji
Plankton × Usopp
Gary × Chopper
Mrs. Puff × Linlin (Big Mom)
Larry × Franky
Mr. Krabs × Jinbe
That is fusion figures, not two separate character lines in one box. Early art has also mixed up some Bikini Bottom labels (Larry vs Mr. Krabs), which is a reminder this is pre-release material, not a finished McDonald's PDF.

Who is missing (and why fans are yelling)
Nami and Zoro are absent from the seven-toy slate despite obvious SpongeBob partners (Sandy, Patrick). Snackolator left the door open for additional SKUs, so the checklist is incomplete until McDonald's Australia publishes the set.

What to do next
If you collect region-exclusive Happy Meals, watch McDonald's Australia app/news channels rather than U.S. calendars. A U.S. drop is possible later, not promised. Follow the One Piece hub and SpongeBob SquarePants hub when an official date lands.
