Gillian Anderson’s take
LEGO brought Anderson into a cinematic mini-film for the reveal. On the record in the press release:
I didn’t expect to be stepping back into Scully’s heels to investigate a LEGO set… it has been so much fun revisiting that world all these years later. This set is a wonderful celebration of the X-Files, and the fans who have kept its mystery alive. Fan-designer origin
Brisbane 3D artist Brent Waller (LEGO Ideas: wetwired) won the Ideas ’90s Nostalgia Challenge with this concept. He started Mulder’s office as a personal build in 2014 while rewatching the show, then expanded into forest + UFO storytelling. Ideas pathway: fan submit, community vote, LEGO selects for production.

Should you buy on day one?
